En pratiquant le métier d’éleveur durant plusieurs années, Jocelyne PORCHER s’est beaucoup interrogée sur les enjeux moraux de ce travail et se souciait du bien-être animal de ses animaux. Aujourd’hui sociologue et directrice de recherche à l’INRA, elle étudie les relations entre hommes et animaux en élevage et travaille sur les questions de souffrance au travail dans les productions animales.

En cofondant Poulehouse, Fabien SAULEMAN, propose l’œuf qui ne tue pas la poule avec un mode de production sans abattage. Un projet éthique et bio qui part du constat que les poules pondeuses sont tuées à l’âge de 18 mois quel que soit le mode d’élevage alors qu’elles pondent encore et qu’elle peuvent vivre 6 à 10 ans.

Le mouvement militant Slow Food est créé en 1986. Il prend forme en réaction à l’implantation d’un Mac Do au cœur de la Rome Historique. Slow Food vient en opposition à l’invasion de la « malbouffe » et du fast food. Très engagé sur ces questions alimentaires, cofondateur du Mouvement Disco Soupe, Bastien BEAUFORT est coordinateur de Slow Food France.
