#754: Tom Walker - Kona Ironman

InnerFight
About this episode

Kona is known as the pinnacle of Ironman triathlon. Anyone who rides the Ironman bus and even those who are quite happy with their sprint distances triathlons know what Kona stands for as well as the dedication, passion and blood sweat and tears that people put into reaching the event on the remote island of Hawaii.

But why? What is the fascination? Is this the ultimate test or is it the ultimate marketing ploy? Those questions may never be answered. Everyone will have their own point of view.

This week we chat to our own Tom Walker who tells us all about what Kona meant to him through his triathlon joinery, how he qualified for the world championships and what happens now.

This is about way more than just triathlon! Sit tight!
