We’ve been hearing and seeing the term “growth mindset” everywhere. We see it on LinkedIn Job postings as a “criteria” for hire, on the title of personal development books, …etc.
But what does that term even mean? What would it take for someone to have a growth mindset? Why is it important for us to adopt a growth mindset in today’s busy, connected and digital world we live in? How different is it from having a fixed mindset?
In this episode, I deconstruct this concept and dig deep into defining its various aspects based on the research I’ve come across, successful people I’ve interviewed, and drawing from personal experiences.
Growing and evolving is being human, but some have the capacity to grow at faster rates than others, and it has to do with their growth mindset levels. The good news is that we could change and develop a growth mindset; you are not born with one or the other.
