About this episode

Social anxiety can make everyday events extra challenging. You might feel a lot more self-conscious and scared than other people do in social interactions and may suffer from low self-esteem. To calm down the anxiety and make it disappear before it escalates into a panic attack, it helps to take charge, to realize that it is your thoughts that created the anxiety, and to bring those thoughts to a neutral state.
