Why We Like the “Bad Boy” Type

Studio71
About this episode

We all know someone; a best friend, a sibling, maybe even ourselves, who cannot, despite all the red flags dangling like forbidden fruit, resist the alluring spell of a bad boy or girl. The type that treats the object of their affections with just enough respect, courtesy, and consideration to get by with playing games of the mind and heart.

Rational thought, past experiences, and self-assurance float right out of the window at the compelling thrill of this new game with a hard to pin prize. Today we're digging a little deeper into why we find this type to be so damn appealing and how to stop wanting things that are bad for us.
