Today's Bible Verse: “Jephthah led Israel six years. Then Jephthah the Gileadite died and was buried in a town in Gilead.” — Judges 12:7
Have you ever felt rejected, overlooked, or judged because of your past? Rejection can make you question your worth and wonder whether you have a meaningful place in God's plan. The story of Jephthah in Judges 11–12 reminds us that God can work through people others dismiss. Jephthah was rejected by his own family because of his background and driven away from his home, yet Israel later turned to him for leadership during a time of crisis. His story challenges us to look beyond human judgments and remember that our value and purpose are not determined by other people's opinions.
