Today's Bible Verse: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11
Are you wondering what God has planned for your future? When life feels uncertain, prayers seem unanswered, or your circumstances don’t match your expectations, it can be difficult to trust that God is leading you somewhere good. Jeremiah 29:11 offers a powerful reminder that God has plans to give His people hope and a future. But this promise was originally given to the Israelites during their exile in Babylon, a season of hardship and waiting. Their story reminds us that God’s plans are not always fulfilled on our preferred timeline, yet we can continue to trust His faithfulness even when we cannot see what lies ahead.
