Today's Bible Verse:“And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.” — Luke 24:27
In Luke 24:27, Jesus explains the Scriptures to two disciples walking along the road to Emmaus after His resurrection. They were struggling to understand what had happened, but Jesus showed them how Moses and the Prophets pointed to Him. The Old Testament is not separate from the story of Jesus. It lays the foundation for understanding who He is, why He came, and how His death and resurrection fulfilled God's promises.
