On this episode of Cyrus Says, Cyrus Broacha is joined by rapper Bali for a conversation that starts with music and takes several unexpected detours.
Bali talks about discovering Eminem in school, his early attempts at making rap music, and how he eventually found his own style in the Indian hip-hop scene. He also breaks down his songwriting process, his love for pop-culture references, and why he decided to use Bali instead of his real name, Sachin.
The conversation moves to his experiences on Rise and Fall and The 50, where he shares stories about reality-show strategies, making friends, surviving eliminations, and the nervousness of performing in front of Salman Khan.
And because it's Cyrus Says, there's plenty of cricket talk too. From the changing nature of T20 to Jasprit Bumrah's brilliance and India's greatest batters, Cyrus and Bali have a lot to discuss.
Expect live rap, reality TV stories, cricket debates, terrible jokes and plenty of laughs.
