It was a powerful and emotional day in a Manhattan courtroom that ended with the judge sentencing Alon, Oren and Tal Alexander to 30 years each for drugging and raping dozens of women for more than a decade. 11 women came forward to read their victim impact statements to a packed courtroom, some of them directly addressing the brothers. The Alexander brothers were once wealthy, powerful men who used their status to lure women and teenagers to exotic locations where they sexually abused them. Each brother pleaded for mercy from the judge, but continued to plead their innocence.
