The Allyzibeth Lamont case is one of the most heartbreaking and infuriating true crime stories to come out of upstate New York. “Ally” Lamont was a bright, hardworking 22-year-old from Gloversville, known for her honesty, her sharp sense of humor, and her refusal to let people take advantage of her. She worked at a local deli in Johnstown, just trying to earn a fair living. But in the fall of 2019, Ally vanished.
When she didn’t come home one late-October night, her devastated family and friends launched a frantic search, and the truth that investigators uncovered would prove more calculated and cold-blooded than anyone imagined. This was no random tragedy. Someone wanted Ally dead.
What did Allyzibeth Lamont know that made her a target? In this episode of True Crime with Kimbyr, we trace the full Allyzibeth Lamont case: the courageous young woman she was, the truth she was brave enough to tell, and the shocking betrayal that cost her everything.
