The Trust Economy: Privacy, Purpose and ...

Business Unmuted
About this episode

Welcome to the Northern Business Podcast.

This podcast is a regular discussion with people who lead businesses, employ people and have new ideas to help our economy grow.

The Northern Business Podcast is produced by Recognition PR, which serves businesses in different sectors across the country, some of which occasionally contribute.

We are sponsored by Vertu Motors plc, one of the top automotive retailers in the UK, with a network of dealerships representing some of the world’s most popular brands.

Joining us this week are three guests with very different perspectives on business and its role in our lives.

Aaron Barnes-Wilding runs Barnveil, a digital privacy company based in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle. With a background in private investigation, Aaron helps people uncover the hidden information about them online and understand the risks it can create.

Bianca Robinson is chief executive of CEO Sleepout, the charity that brings business leaders together to raise funds to tackle homelessness. Based in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Bianca campaigns for businesses to use their influence to strengthen communities and create positive change.

And Karl Pemberton is managing director of Active Chartered Financial Planners. With a background in private and investment banking, Karl helps business owners and individuals plan their financial futures, alongside leading the firm’s strategy and client experience.
