Authorities now believe 29 year old mother of four, Tasia Fortune, was murdered during a drug dispute and then, her body was hanged in a tree in a “staged” scene. Jackson police say Fortune fought with her attackers before she was killed, and now 45 year old Eric Clark has also been charged with her murder. 25 year old Earnest Lloyd Jr.and 51 year old Jarques Ratliff are also facing capital murder charges for her death. Fortune’s mother had a remarkable response after an outburst in Friday’s court hearing, saying she doesn’t want anyone who is innocent behind bars.
