The Yes Person often has good intentions. They want to help, make people happy, and avoid disappointing others. But constantly saying yes can lead to overcommitment, missed deadlines, competing priorities, and frustration for everyone involved.

Think about the Yes People on your team, or whether you might be one yourself.
Before saying yes to the next request, ask:
What am I already committed to, where does this fit in my priorities, and can I realistically deliver what I'm promising?
A thoughtful yes is much more valuable than an automatic one.
