On today’s show, we’re looking at the industrial real estate outlook across the Northeast corridor.
Marcus & Millichap recently published its 2Q 2026 industrial forecasts for 36 metropolitan markets across the United States. Today, we’re going to focus on six of them: Boston, New York City, Northern New Jersey, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C.
These markets are connected geographically by the I-95 corridor, but they are not all moving in the same direction.
There is, however, one common theme.
The wave of new construction that affected industrial markets over the past several years is beginning to recede.
