Tay Lautner passed her nursing boards in February 2020 — and was a COVID nurse by the end of that year. What followed was burnout, a PTSD diagnosis, and a mental health journey that eventually became a platform, a nonprofit, and a podcast called The Squeeze. Now she's pregnant with her first child, a girl, and thinking deeply about how everything she's learned about healing, self-care, and asking for help will shape the mother she wants to become. On this episode of The Motherly Podcast, she joins Liz for an honest conversation about the first trimester nobody warned her about, what it took to leave the hospital for good, and why she's actually excited for her daughter to watch her work.
