As a corporate executive and CEO, the 1:1 meeting was the single most powerful weapon I had in my leadership arsenal. It was here that I mobilised my direct reports to excel.
But even with that focus, I still left a lot to chance. It wasn’t until much later that I learned a technique to lock in people’s commitment to deliver.
