Eberechi Eze to Arsenal… unlucky, Spurs

THE ATHLETIC
About this episode

Arsenal look to have hijacked Eberechi Eze's proposed move to Spurs. The Athletic's David Ornstein has reported that a deal has been reached in principle, with the Crystal Palace no.10 on the cusp of returning to the club he spent part of his youth career.

Amy Lawrence, James McNicholas, and Art de Roché join Ian Stone to revel in the news, discussing the romance of the deal, the various factors that lead to it happening, what he’ll bring to Arsenal, and of course, have a laugh at Spurs' expense.

The bad news is that the transfer may have been actioned in part due to an injury to Kai Havertz, the panel consider the impact his omission could have on Arsenal's season.

Plus, a new contract for Leandro Trossard, the PFA Award winners, and a look ahead to Leeds on Saturday.

Produced by Robby Williams.
