THE ATHLETIC
About this episode

It’s an Inter v PSG final in the Champions League and Jimbo has Duncan Alexander, Charlie Eccleshare and Tom Williams in the studio to review the semi-final action.

Arteta’s depleted Arsenal come up short in their semi-final in Paris. Is it finally time for PSG to ascend to the top of European football?

Inter somehow overcome Barcelona in possibly the greatest Champions League semi-final of all time. James Horncastle was there and here to discuss Inzaghi, Acerbi and the Nerazzurri’s chances in the final.

The Premier League weekend sees Newcastle host Chelsea in a big game for assembling next year’s Champions League line-up. While Arsenal have to travel to Anfield.

The EFL play-offs kick off this weekend with Wycombe and Sunderland looking to banish the ghosts of Charlton and Jimmy Hill respectively.

Plus the best games you’ve ever missed and Man United’s 2019 inspired recruitment.

Produced by Charlie Jones.
