It’s not about what someone can’t do; it’s about discovering all the things they can do and giving them the chance to shine.

Roger and Erin’s journey into neurodivergent inclusion started the moment their son, Jake, was diagnosed as autistic at age five. Facing the uncertainty of his future, they quickly realized how much the right resources and environment could mean for a child like him. Their search for better services led them to move from Florida to Pennsylvania, determined to give Jake every opportunity possible. But the real game-changer came years later, when Roger left his corporate healthcare job and took a leap of faith—buying a small fudge business to create meaningful work for Jake and others like him. What began as a dad’s hope to “fix” the barriers his son might face turned into a family mission to build a supportive, hands-on workplace. With every new employee, every shared task, and every small win at the factory, Roger and Erin learned how powerful it can be to meet people where they are—growing confidence, independence, and belonging, one sweet batch at a time.,When Roger and Erin discovered their son Jake was autistic, everything shifted—they began to see the world through a new lens, navigating both the joys and challenges of raising a neurodivergent child. School choices, therapy appointments, and even a cross-country move became part of their story as they searched for the best support. But what really sparked change was a growing frustration with the job market’s lack of real, inclusive opportunities for people like Jake. Instead of waiting for the world to catch up, they took matters into their own hands. Buying a fudge business wasn’t part of their original plan, but it became a place where neurodivergent individuals could thrive, learn, and build confidence. With every decision, Roger and Erin focused on understanding individual strengths—offering not just jobs, but a sense of purpose and community that many families dream of for their kids.
