Can you even afford your friendships? A 2024 study found that 21% of survey respondents  have lost a friendship over money and 26% feel financially incompatible with their friends. Another study published in 2023 found that 36% of American Gen Z and millenniaals have a friend who “drives them to overspending”. Needless to say, your friendships and money are more interconnected than you think.
