About this episode

Historically, RhD immunoglobulin was recommended in Rh-negative patients presenting after spontaneous or induced abortion. However, guideline recommendations around the world have largely changed, and now recommend forgoing prophylaxis in most of these cases. We review the evidence and guidelines.
