About this episode

The Arsenal Women Arsecast launched in February 2019 with an exclusive interview with Leah Williamson, so we thought what better way to celebrate episode 100 than with another exclusive interview with Leah Williamson? Leah and Tim talk through the journey women’s football, Arsenal Women and Leah have been on since then. The lessons she learned winning the title in 2019, the impact of Covid on women’s football and the post Euro 2022 explosion in interest, the big crowds, increased scrutiny and fame and how Leah has dealt with it, as well as her outreach work in Jakarta and Jordan, as well as coping with the physical demands of elite football.
