172. Becoming Unbotherable and Thriving ...

Alissa Boyer
About this episode

In this episode, I dive into the concept of becoming "unbotherable" and how Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) can thrive in any environment, no matter what life throws at them. As an HSP, external circumstances—like lack of sleep, stressful situations, or challenging behaviors from others—can easily disrupt our inner peace. However, the key is learning how not to let the outside world control your internal experience.

You'll hear about how I’ve embraced this idea in my own life, especially as a mom balancing totally unpredictable days. I share practical tools I use to stay grounded, even when external situations challenge my sense of calm. One of the tools I use is a six-step process for managing and neutralizing triggers, which helps me regain my center, even during tough moments.

What you'll learn in this episode:

  • How to shift from reacting to responding in tough situations
  • Ways to maintain internal peace, even when external circumstances are challenging
  • Why it’s important to view difficult moments as opportunities for growth
  • A six-step process for managing triggers that you can use in real-time, no matter where you are
  • The mindset shift required to stop letting external chaos control your internal state

This episode is perfect for anyone who wants to stop being controlled by the stresses of daily life and start thriving as an HSP.
