S3 E105 Chronic Illness is a Family Dise...

NICOLE SACHS, LCSW
About this episode

This podcast has been around for a while now, so it's rare that I get to say that something is a "first ever." Today is one of those rare days. When I first interviewed Suzanne Tiger about her stunning chronic illness and pain recovery after 12 years of constant suffering, the story of her supportive husband Aaron got my attention. I spend all of my energy on this podcast guiding and supporting people with chronic symptoms, but have never interviewed someone on the other side of the coin. When Aaron Tiger agreed to come and share his story, I was eager to include his experience. After all, chronic pain is a family disease. It touches everyone who loves and cares about the identified patient.

For every person dealing with chronic pain, there are at least 1 (or 10) who are affected in their own lives. PLEASE forward this podcast to one of those people who might need it. Aaron's ability to speak with empathy and clarity is a gift to us all. I'm honored to share it with you. With much love, n. xoxo
