Dr. Hashim Al-Zain is a design specialist with 23 years of experience in machine design, reverse engineering, industrial accelerators and product development. He has worked with notable organisations such as SEC, KAUST, Lockheed Martin, and the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia with a focus on localizing mechanical part manufacturing and adopting industry 4.0 technologies. With a PhD in Polymer Processing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Dr. Al-Zain has also founded two tech-based businesses in the industrial and healthcare sectors, contributing to transforming Saudi Arabia into a knowledge-based economy.
