Girls Night #258: STOP Trying To Do It A...

THAT SOUNDS FUN NETWORK
About this episode

Hey friends! Welcome to Girls’ Night!

I’m so excited about today’s episode.

When writing my book, Create a Life You Love, I did a ton of research on what life has been like for women throughout history. One of the biggest themes I’ve found is that throughout history, women have had next to no authority over their lives. And while that’s been getting better — we have more options today than any generation of women in history, we also are carrying more than any generation of women in history, because the more we’re able to “do it all” the more we’re being expected to actually, “DO IT ALL.”

That’s why I cannot wait for you to hear from today’s guest!

Our guest for today’s episode is my new friend, Paula Faris. Paula is a journalist, author and Founder of CARRY Media, which advocates for working moms. Paula’s mission is to make sure being a working mom works!

One of my favorite parts of the episode is when she talks about the “mom default” and why so much of the load seems to be left in the hands of women — and what we can do to change that!

Paula is funny, and brilliant, and an advocate for real change — you are going to love this conversation! Let’s hop into the episode!
