About this episode

A series of conversations with Al-Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and people who have been part of Qatar’s architecture & culture development journey.

In this episode, Her Excellency is joined by Fatma Al Remaihi, the chief executive of the Doha Film Institute (DFI).

As an ambassador for the Qatari film industry she has established the country’s presence on the international stage, including at major events such as the Cannes Film Festival and New York’s Tribeca Festival. She also oversees the institute’s nurturing of domestic talent with the awarding of grants to Qatari filmmakers and directs Doha’s annual Qumra and Ajyal film festivals.
