In this episode I'm joined by Dr Andrew Mitchell, Associate Dean in Education & Sport at the University of Bedfordshire, to answer listener questions about injuries and player fitness in football. We discuss how club's manage injured players, the question of injury proneness, the thorny and recurring issues of hamstrings, how physical development at a young age could benefit players in the future, specific players like Jurrien Timber and Thomas Partey, the importance of mental health support to help physical injury and lots more.
