About this episode

The Super Subs is back for a second season with Assile Toufaily!

The show was created in November 2022 to fill a gap in the Arab world: the absence of women’s sports dedicated platforms.

For Episode 2 of Season 2, I welcomed one of my idols growing up in Lebanon, Shada Nasr, the goat of Lebanese women's basketball.

At age 13, Shada Nasr Ghosn became the youngest player to ever play for the Lebanese National Team. She then became its captain and played for more than one and a half decade, representing Homentmen Antelias, Antranik Beirut and Riyadi.

Following her retirement, Shada founded “Play It Forward”: an initiative to empower girls through sports.

You can listen to the podcast on all platforms: Anghami, Podeo, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.

Or on my personal page on YouTube.
