How To Stand Up For Yourself

Unwell
About this episode

(Video podcast available on Spotify & YouTube) This week, Madeline joins us from her new official podcasting set up as she opens up about the steps she has taken to become more of an advocate for herself. Standing up for herself has always been a challenge for Madeline and she often leaves confrontations unsatisfied and without getting what she asks for. While advocating for yourself is important, Madeline highlights that in order for it to be effective, you need to have the right delivery.

Madeline shares the amount of growth she experienced while at Uni and how she wants to continue to implement this into her everyday life. Madeline's in a little bit of a lull right now as she's in between therapists but is taking the necessary steps to get herself on track. Madeline wants to gain a deeper understanding of the relationships she has and how to balance that with her career. Overall, Madeline wants to find a solid sense of self, which is something all of us can relate to.
