Sufyan is a Sudanese Hip Hop producer who uses his surroundings, Nubian heritage, and his country's history as inspiration for his music. Born in Kuwait, he developed his passion for making music at an early age. He moved to Sudan in 2005, but it wasn't until 2007 that his musical involvement grew beyond just a passion, making beats, sampling, and contributing to the Sudanese music  scene with through collaborations with local rappers. He joined the Sudanese music collective New Slang Entertainment in 2011, which led to the release of his first beat tape Pseudarhythms in January, 2013, which received multiple global accolades and featured in a list of independent films such as the American/Sudanese movie Faisal Goes West.
