About this episode

Professor of physiology in faculty of medicine Mansoura University, and cheif tutor of semester two of Mansoura Manchester Medical Program

I lost my mother to cancer, I was on her beside every moment during this painful journey, but what made it even more painful was me belonging to the medical field. I didn’t have the hope that helps people carry on during such situations and I felt helpless towards the most important person to me. I miss her all the time.

However I came out of this experience knowing that I can go through anything.

I’m close to my children just like I was with my mother, we have a very special relationship and this what gives my life a meaning
