Creating Delicious Sugar-Free Classics w...

Takara Sewitt | Wavebreak
About this episode

Challenged with her own personal journey with Type 1 diabetes since the age of 6, Jennifer knows all too well the limitations within the beverage space. Her condition and lack of healthy options served as the catalyst for the creation of Swoon, a sugar-free beverage company that now offers a great tasting array of classics, including pink lemonade, teas, and more. The brand, despite many challenges including launching during Covid, has gained lots of traction with its notable “Barbie” collab, exclusive merchandise and large retail presence. Beyond the brand, with Jennifer at the helm, Swoon is on track to eliminate one billion grams of sugar from the supply chain.

In this episode, Jennifer also discusses:

  • The rationale behind the company's preference for Monk Fruit as their sweetener of choice over other alternatives like Stevia
  • The synergy of in-person events, social media, and branding efforts that has solidified Swoon's loyal customer base
  • Details on Jennifer and her team's creative experimentation with Swoon

We hope you enjoy this episode and gain valuable insights into Jennifer’s journey and the growth of Swoon. Don't forget to like and subscribe to the Glam & Grow podcast for more in depth conversations around the most incredible brands, founders, trends and more.
