57: *Student Success* An Honest Conversa...

Nicole Hill - Horizon Found Photography Education
About this episode

If you’ve ever struggled with anxiety, depression, or self doubt when it comes to your life or your photography career, today’s podcast episode is for YOU.

Today I’m introducing you to one of the amazing alumni from our online course, The Photographer’s Path, Alanna Georgette.

Alanna is an incredible film photographer based near London. She shoots musicians, live music, lifestyle and fashion. Her work has this beautiful, raw documentary style that really stands out and draws you into the moment.

In today's episode, Alanna truly opened up and shared her heart. It’s not every day that photographers, creatives, or self employed business owners open up about the struggles and fears we all face when it comes to building our businesses. It was so refreshing and inspiring to hear Alanna's experience, knowing that we’re not alone in the doubts we all feel sometimes. Alanna has been shooting professionally for over four and a half years and she has some beautiful insights to share with you today.

In this episode, she shares:

  • Ways photographers can persevere when bookings aren’t coming in and you’re hearing consistent “no’s"
  • Advice on how to push through anxiety before shoots
  • Tips on how to release comparison when it comes to social media
  • All things film photography, live music, bands and so much more...

If you’ve been struggling with self doubt, I hope you'll give this episode a listen.
