About this episode

Welcome to episode 342 of Sexology Podcast! Today I am delighted to welcome back Alicia Davon to the podcast. In this thought-provoking conversation we focus on the significance of sexual tension within long-term relationships, the conscious scheduling of pleasurable moments, and a willingness to embrace novelty in all its forms.

Alicia Davon is a highly accomplished individual, possessing a Master's degree in Integral Psychology with a specialized focus on exploring and understanding women's romantic and sensual expression. Her academic journey and professional background led her to become a trained therapist, equipping her with the necessary skills to make a positive impact on people's lives.

Before encountering her partner Erwan, Alicia was already making a significant difference by leading numerous women's groups. These groups were entirely dedicated to empowering women to embrace and enhance their pleasure and find fulfillment in various aspects of life, be it in their careers or relationships.

It was around 15 years ago that Alicia's path crossed with Erwan's, and this encounter proved to be a transformative one. They soon joined forces, combining their knowledge and expertise to create something truly remarkable - The Pleasure Course. This unique course has had a profound influence on the lives of thousands of individuals, guiding them towards achieving their ideal and fulfilling love lives.

In this episode, you will hear:

  • The importance of sexual tension building in long-term relationships.
  • How Sexual tension is the presence of desire, turn-on, and romantic interest
  • Why many couples face challenges due to getting stuck in routine
  • Alicia advises acknowledging the issue and discussing it openly with the partner
  • Prioritizing fun and connection without distractions for better pleasure
  • Try new and different things to bring novelty and excitement to the relationship
  • How novelty doesn't always mean extreme acts; it can be romantic gestures
  • Cultivating desire is possible through open communication, scheduling pleasurable time, and embracing novelty.
