La neumonía adquirida en la comunidad puede ser causada por diversos patógenos, siendo los más comunes los virus respiratorios (COVID-19, virus de la influenza, virus sincitial respiratorio), bacterias como Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae y Staphylococcus aures y bacterias atípicas como Mycoplasma pneumoniae y Chlamydophila pneumoniae. En pacientes inmunocomprometidos también puede haber infecciones por hongos como Aspergillus. ¿Cuánto sabe de su diagnóstico y manejo? ¿Cuál es el papel de los esteroides en su tratamiento?
