ACC CardiaCast: Inside the Author Studio...

AMERICAN COLLEGE OF CARDIOLOGY
About this episode

In this third episode of Inside the Author Studio: Behind the Scenes with the Guideline Authors, Dr. Jim Januzzi interviews guideline author Dr. Lynne Stevenson on the importance of understanding the optimal evaluation and management of patients with heart failure. Dr. Stevenson passionately explains why clinicians must understand that every patient is different and how effective therapies must be individualized and often combined to treat patients with different profiles. Listen to Dr. Stevenson elaborate on the hopes to unify heart failure across the ejection fraction and rebrand "heart failure" to "heart success" by better understanding patients to prevent progression to stage C or D.

This podcast is part of the Heart Failure & SGLT2is: The New Pillar in Care grant initiative.

Educational grant support is provided by Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals Inc. (BIPI) and Lilly USA, LLC (Lilly). Click here for more: https://learn.acc.org/Page/LearnSGLT2andHF
