#10 Parental Leave

Teachify
About this episode

Yo, yo, yo everyone, we're back with another official Teachify podcast, this time it's about parental leave, maternity leave and what the situation is like in different countries, in particular, with developed countries.

You may notice that Lewis appears to be going a little bit crazy in lockdown now, as we approach two months of quarantine I believe it's understandable.  That's why he won't be alone for the next podcast or two, with the next one being a compilation of ideas from all of our teachers giving you recommendations for some series to watch in English.

  1. Get by - survive or defend oneself.
  2. Stingy - tight-fisted, thrifty.
  3. Cheerful - happy or in a good mood.
  4. Nappy - something a baby wears around their bottom.
  5. Dig around - to do research.
  6. Policy - law or rule.
  7. Wealthy - rich.
  8. Chart - graph.
  9. Take time off - to book holidays or leave.
  10. Developed countries - those with good infrastructure and economy.

I hope you enjoyed this episode, remember that you can follow us on Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube as we have free LIVE lessons on Instagram three times a week.
