Are you interested in becoming a permanent resident of the U.S.? Today, I will discuss how to obtain a Permanent Resident Card, commonly called a green card. This document allows you to live and work in the U.S. indefinitely. 

A "green card" is a plastic card with the individual's biographic information, photo, fingerprint, and expiration date issued by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

The Permanent Resident Card is valid for ten years and must be renewed.
