About this episode

On April 19, 1995, a little before 9am, ex-soldier Timothy McVeigh parked a Ryder rental truck outside of the Alfred-P Murrah Federal building in Oklahoma City. Inside the truck was a crude yet lethal bomb made from fertilizer, and diesel petrol. McVeigh locked the truck and walked away. Moments later, at 9:02 the truck exploded, tearing the front of the building apart, killing 168 people, including 19 children and injuring hundreds more.
