Meet the second-generation Jamaican-American boss lady that serves as the STEM/STEAM Coordinator at South Atlanta High School all while owning and operating Twelve12 Group: a company consisting of connected brands that include short/mid term rentals and consulting.
After working as a Corporate Account Marketer, Andrea began her 18 year education tenure and has since served as a secondary Mathematics and Social Studies teacher and Instructional Coach of all subjects and grade levels.
Andrea realized that there is a significant gap between the current K-12 education experience and the experiences required to adequately prepare students for a STEM-centered workforce.
She saw a way where she could help to close this gap by providing K-12 schools/districts, for-profit businesses and non-profit organizations with solutions and strategies that address these challenges; and from that initiative Twelve12 Group was born!
Twelve12 Consulting specifically helps organizations to provide quality STEM/STEAM programming for historically underrepresented groups with specialized interest in students who identify as Black and/or LatinX and those in the Caribbean Diaspora.
