Please join me in welcoming Prof. (Dr.) Dwarika Prasad Uniyal is currently the Pro Vice-Chancellor (development & Leadership) & Founding Dean, of the School of Economics & Business at RV University, Bengaluru. Prof. Dwarika brings with him a rich and varied experience of more than 25 years in premier academic institutions having spearheaded initiatives in leadership roles at FLAME university, IIM Kashipur, MICA, SPJMR Mumbai, and SP Jain School of Global Management, Dubai, the list goes on. He also serves on the advisory boards of social and commercial enterprises and was instrumental in reviving the sick PSU Braithwaite & Co. Ltd.
In the academic world, he is known for his bestselling book, ‘Managing Retailing’, published by Oxford University Press. In his free time, he dabbles in creative writing for the advertising world. He is a poet and his book of poems “Ummeedon Ke Pankh” was published recently. He is a podcaster with Mentza and also acts in short films.
