It was a date Brittany Tavar had been preparing for, for over a year, July 7th, 2010. The day she planned to stand before a judge at the St. Augustine, Florida courthouse, to present evidence that would hopefully grant her request for a permanent restraining order against her nemesis. Brittany told friends she’d been building the case against her neighbor out of fear, fear for her safety.
