Esta es la parte 1, y la siguiente semana tendremos la parte 2 en la que vamos a aprender 10 palabras más en español que no tienen un equivalente en inglés.

La lista de este tipo de palabras es extensa pero aquí aprenderás las más comunes.

Por ejemplo, ¿Sabes que significa la palabra estrenar? ¿La has escuchado? Significa: “Usar algo (ropa) por primera vez”.

Ésta es solo una de estas interesantes palabras en español. Vamos a ver cuántas de estas palabras conoces.

There are many Spanish words with no English translation. Many are curious words that you need to know.

In this episode, you will learn 10 untranslatable Spanish words, Spanish words that don’t exist in English.

This is part 1, and next week we will see part 2 where we are going to learn 10 more Spanish words with no English equivalent.

The list of these type of words is long but here you will learn the most common ones.

For instance, do you know what the word "estrenar" means? Have you heard of it? It means "‘to use something (clothes) for the first time".

This is just one of these interesting Spanish words. Let’s see how many of these words you know. What are you waiting for?
