#92 FEELING vs THINKING about your body ...

Elena Kunicki
About this episode

My podcast guest this week is Erica Mather @erica_mather, an author and yoga therapist. Through embodied movement, she helps people feel better about and in their bodies, and she teaches them how to make friends with their bodies and how to move forward in their lives.

Erica founded The Adore Your Body Transformational Program, a 7-step system for getting a handle on body image challenges, and also founded The Yoga Clinic of NYC, a business that educates clients, medical practitioners, and yoga teachers about empowered self-care practices using yoga as the core tool.

I talk to Erica about:

  • Her story of what brought her to the work she does today.
  • Erica’s version of forrest yoga.
  • How food and productivity go hand in hand.
  • The journey of her relationship with food and restriction.
  • Investigating negative thoughts around body image.
  • Benefits of living embodied.
  • Discovering her mystical experience.
  • Why yoga is so great for body image.
  • + MORE
