About this episode

Astrid Feyer is a 47-year-old mother of two, currently living in Australia. She has experienced her fair share of injuries and discovered MAF low heart rate training, as a way to ease back into training and gradually increase training volume. In 2020, she joined my Personal Best running coaching program (https://www.pbprogram.com/) and it has been really exciting to follow her running journey over the last few years. At the recent London Marathon, Astrid ran a 2:49 finishing time which was a Personal Best and she was also able to achieve 3rd place in her age category. In this interview we discuss being a working, busy mother and getting the training volume in, about a running journey which comes full circle, through injury, MAF training and exceeds a long-held PB!
