Italian Grammar #5 - Changing from singu...

Italian Beginners
About this episode

Ciao!

In this episode we'll look at how to change the endings of the nouns, when going from singular to plurals.

:)

..

For the three different main endings:

"o" singular, becomes "i"

bigletto - bigletti

treno - treni

"a" goes to "e"

sera - sere

casa - case

"e" goes to "i"

fiume - fiumi

notte - notti

..

And some nouns do not change in the plurals, f.ex imported words ending on a consontant (bar, sport, film), and nouns ending on an accented vowel (città, virtù, caffè).

Great work!

..
