Chelcie Whitmore is self-proclaimed a 'Specialist Generalist' - she has a wide range of skills that she applies to business problems. She is mum to a three year old daughter and is in her last trimester of her second pregnancy with another daughter (who runs the world...?!).
Chelcie is passionate about mental health and wellbeing and generally about making the workplace a happier and positive space to spend our time.
In this interview, Chelcie talks about her professional journey and shares her story going from a rough start at university to currently working at Transport for London. She is a mental health advocate at her workplace. She believes it is important to build trust between coworkers so they can maintain good mental health for themselves and each other.
Chelcie also highlights the importance of self-awareness and self-reflection. She believes that we should reflect, maintain a balance, and enjoy the little things in life. From her experience, she learned that we must all slow down and learn to rest for our mental health and wellbeing.
Love and kindness are the two most important values for Chelcie. As she says so beautifully: “it’s nice to be important but it’s more important to be nice.”
