Laurelle Brown is Founder and Director of award winning company, Laurelle Brown Training and Consultancy. The team specialises in strengthening equity, diversity and inclusion across complex systems for children and supporting organisations in navigating change. Laurelle is a JNC qualified Youth and Community Worker that brings over two decades of experience in children’s safeguarding, and services for children and young people. Additionally, Laurelle is Co-Founder and Director of KIJIJI, a community to connect, support and empower Black safeguarding professionals. A Churchill Fellow, Laurelle embarked on a research journey to Sweden, France, Germany, Portugal and Switzerland in 2018, exploring 'Foster care for adolescents with 'complex needs'.
